Welding
The fit up and final welding area is where the prototype and production runs of medium to large weldments are built. A 50-ton overhead crane with a 25-ton auxiliary crane, along with other 10 and 20 ton overheads, move components through the plant efficiently. Certified welders fit up and final weld, to the specifications called out in our customer's drawings. Adherence to these requirements is assured because of "in process" and "final" inspection by our team of AWS certified weld inspectors (CWI). Materials of carbon steel, stainless steel, bronze, aluminum and monel are but a few of the alloys we have experienced in welding.
The variety of equipment we use to produce product excellence, includes 2 IGM Robotic Welders with a maximum of 29 feet of horizontal travel, "routinely" calibrated welding machines, and seam welding machines using the flux core, hard wire, or submerged arc processes. By requiring all of our welders to be certified, we assure a quality product that meets or exceeds your requirements. As you scroll down this page, you will see the equipment we use to provide the best quality.
Another unique feature of our welding bay is our cast-iron machine bed tables for fit-up work. The extremely flat machined surfaces coupled with "T" slots, allow the use
of bolsters or uprights to improve the quality of the final product. Production fixtures can be built to your specifications, or we can work with your team on the design, to assure the integrity of your component.
Assembly
When we are contracted to supply a sub assembly or a complete component, we assign our experienced assembly team to your project. Whether it is mechanical assembly that includes hydraulic or pneumatic systems, or process piping, we meet your requirements, on time. Insulating, electrical wiring, blasting and painting are provided through our experienced vendor base.
